Classroom Rewards and Incentives

*Meet Classroom Reading Goal: All classrooms that meet their reading goal will choose a Popsicle, Popcorn, Dunker Donut or Slushie party.

*Meet Classroom Donation Goal: All classrooms that meet their donation goal will choose a Popsicle, Popcorn, Dunker Donuet or Slushie party.

*Meet Grade Level Reading Goal: All who meet their grade level reading goal will receive a topper pencil. Students who meet their grade level reading goal will also be entered into a drawing for a special prize; 1 winner drawn per grade.

*School Reading Goal: If our school reads 150,000 minutes, we all earn a special assembly with a surprise!

*Out-of-State Donation TrackerThe first one to receive an out-of-state donation from each state gets a shoutout and "Miles O' Smiles" pencil.

Special Teacher Incentive

1,000 minutes read - piece of candy or phantom slip
3,000 minutes read - pick seats for the day
5,000 minutes read - games in the classroom
8,000 minutes read (class goal) - everyone gets a book
Grade level incentive - if we meet our grade level reading minutes (60,000 minutes) then we will have a grade 3 movie day. Class with the most minutes will also get a treat during the movie.
