Pleasant Ridge Elementary
The purpose of the BOOKN' IT Fun Run is to promote a healthy and educational environment for all students. Monies raised from the fundraiser will go towards a variety of items for the school and the students. These include, but are not limited to; field trips, author/reader visits, classroom/building needs, and updating the school library. A note from our Teacher Librarian: We would like to invite you to join us in a special fundraising effort to enhance our school library. We are excited to announce our "Bookn' It" fundraising campaign during our PTA Fun Run event this year. A portion of the funds raised will support our Pleasant Ridge library's collection with new books. The school library plays a pivotal role in fostering a love for reading and providing valuable resources that support our students' learning journey. However, our library requires continual updates and improvements over the years. Currently, the average age of our library books are 23 years old! Many of the books in our animal section are so loved that they are held together with tape. New books will provide our children with a more enriching and diverse learning experience and inspire a lifelong love for reading.
