Woodland Elementary School
Woodland Elementary Home & School wants to promote a healthy lifestyle to our students and the community. Daily reading improves cognitive function, language skills, and memory. Children who read 20 minutes a day are exposed to 1.8 million words a year. Please help us reach our fundraising goal by supporting the READOPOLY Read-a-Thon. We have teamed up with Get Movin’© to make this event fun and profitable with online mobile-friendly technology! The funds we earn through Read-a-thon help Woodland Home & School enrich our children’s educational experience while also helping strengthen the relationship between families and our school. Home and School sponsors all the highly anticipated events such as Fun Day, 4th grade Pillows, Popcorn, & Pajamas, Fall and Spring parent/child nights as well as providing all 4th graders with a yearbook. Each teacher is awarded a mini-grant for additional technology programs and classroom supplies to support their already excellent work. This year our hope is to raise more money than ever before!
